He was a partner to GP Investimentos, Executive Vice-President of Petropar S.A., a petrochemical and plastic transformation holding, Group an Vice President of the Board of Directors of Banco Multiplic (later acquired by Lloyds Bank pc), CEO of the Multiplic Group and Managing Director of Arthur D. Little in Brazil.
He was Chairman of the Internatinal Food and Agribusiness Management Association (IAMA), Chairman of the Board of CEAPE - a NGO dedicated to provide credit to micro entrepreneurs, President of the Brazilian Pulp Association and Member of the EgonZehnder Global Corporate Governance Advisory Board.
He has written the book “Passport to the year 2000”. He holds a Master of Science (MSC) in Industrial Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a degree of Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná.
